Comment On a Colleague’s Work
.
I have heard a lot of gun issues for last couple years. I have never thought about that until I read my classmate's Blog “Gun control does not mean outlawing guns". I start questioning myself “why do people have to carry guns in public?" I strongly agree with my classmate Han Tran about how to use guns to protect my family. I believe that people can carry guns to defend them self, property, and family from any possible threats. For the last couple years, there were some issues that it related to carry guns in public, and it was very bad accidents happening in our country. I remember there was a guy shooting people while they went to Movie Theater the guy started shooting people inside the movie theater. I believe that our government should stop people carry gun in public because you never know what is going to happen. Recently in Georgia, some new gun control laws passed by state and I think they put away with a lot of important restrictions. For example, they can carry gun to bars or school safety zones. It is not a good idea to let people carry gun to Bars. As you know that people go to bars to get drinks, and when they get drunk, they may not control them self. They may shoot someone without control them self. My suggestion is people have to have a license to own gun and have training gun lesson. These people can carry gun without metal having problems and they have to be at least thirty years old. I think it is old enough to realize what you have to do and what you must not do. Personally, I hate to have a gun. Our government should make more gun restriction because there are no reasons to carry a gun with you all the time. I do believe that the security in The United State is very good. Can you imagine that what people think about you when they see you have a gun? One against there is no reason to let people carry a gun in public. It is a good ways to protect our nation and to prevent something bad happening.

On April 23, 2014 the CNN Politics published an article " Many low-wage not protected by minimum wage." I think this article worth reading because people have different ways to think how this article will affect economy and our lives. As you read the first paragraph " President Obama's push to raise the federal minimum wage to 10.10 an hour, coupled with recent state- level increase, is welcome news for many people getting by on small paychecks." I don't think this idea is going to work for all states because people who own small business can't afford it. This Article talked about disable workers should get at least minimum wage 10.10$ per hour, I strongly agree with this because disable workers who don't have more chances to go to work, whatever they make, they should get paid more than normal people. I also don't agree that they cut down wage for teenage trainees because these people who work hard to earn money. Some of them need to help their parents and some of them like to make their own money. I Think government should pay at least 7.25 $ per hour for these people. In contrast, The Senate also consider that it would raise minimum wage to 10.10$ and 2.13 $ minimum for tipped workers. That sound good for workers because they get more money to support their families. However, some agriculture workers who don't have minimum protection at federal level, it isn't fair for them. These working hard people have to get at least minimum 10.10 per hour. I think government should apply minimum wage 10.10 per hour for these businesses that make more than 500000 $ per year. If businesses don't cross the line 500000 $, they just have to pay 7.25 $ per hour. If we can get this minimum wage apply to our economy, it will help a lot for these people who have low income. For example, A family has three person, each two of them works average 40 hours per week and they get minimum wage 7.25$ per, how do you think they can support their families with this amount money. On the other hand, if minimum wage applies for all state, it will reduce a lot of jobs. Some companies will cut down jobs a lot because I don't think they can afford it. There are two things go together if raising minimum wage 10.10$ per hour. First of all, workers will get more money to support their families. Second, companies will cut out jobs a lot. Second option, we can make it work if government can create more jobs such as build more roads, get more companies move in, ect.. This article leaves a big questions for our government how to raise minimum wage to 10.10$ per hour and how to create more jobs.?

i think my option about "Gay Marriage" is completely different than you juliettejuda . as you know that Gay Marriage is one of the biggest issue for some states in the United States. California one of them approved Gay Marriage and Texas doesn't agree Gay Marriage. for me, I don't think what is the difference between gay marriage or normal people marriage. they are human being and they have to have human rights for what they want to do or who they want to get marry. I have the same feelings with you how hard would be if my life without my wife. Why don't you think Gay people who also have the same feelings with you, they need someone to share their lives even they can't share their lives completely. I also don't think that Kids will be affected on gay marriage, if they are born in normal people. and I strong agree with you at the last point that being gay marriage is not being, it is just different way to love. for my option, I strong support gay marriage because they are human being and they are not born at same normal people. we have to help them and support them and treat them just like normal people. let them have their own lives and do what they want to do.

Michelle Obama in China
the article written by Carol is one of the most important message that Michelle Obama wants to mention to readers about Human rights and freedom of speech in china. she also brought her two daughters and her mom with her during a trip. Mrs Obama visited some high schools at Chengdu and gave a speech to this school. she sent an important message to students " the rights to say what we think and worship as we choose." she also drew attention to the highly sensitive issue of the semi-autonomous religion of Tibet and minority in general. as you know that Hillary Clinton visited china in 1995 and she also sent an important message to Women " women's rights are human rights" the reader can't tell which message will have greater impact. as you know that china is a communist country and human rights in china is one of the biggest issues now. people don't seem to have human right and freedom of speech. she spend a lot of her time appealing china's youth and encouraged them to have high education. Human right is the most important issue for some communist countries such as China, Vietnam and North Korea and Mrs Obama just wants to send a message "Human rights" to these countries. I strongly agree with what she did during her trip to China. I hope this message will make a big change in the future for people who live these countries to have human rights and free speech.

On March 6,2014 the CNN Politics published an article titled " CNN Poll: Wide divide over abortion." I think it is an article worth reading because people have different way to think how abortion affect to women's lives?
when you read through this article, you may agree with it or you may not agree." Washington CNN-
About one in four Americans say that abortion should be legal in all
circumstances, one in five say abortion should always be illegal, and
slightly over half the public thinks abortion should be legal in some,
but not all, circumstances, according to a national poll released
Thursday." as you know that abortion is one of the biggest issue that we have to deal with. let's put this in that way, if abortion should not be legal and some women who can not support their children well or don't have money to pay for hospital. and these women always want to have good life, they don't want to ruin their lives for it. I strongly agree that abortion or not abortion that it is up to women's lives. they can do whatever they want to do with their own body because they surely know what they have to do.
the article also talks about these women can or can't get health insurance that covers abortions "Most Americans have never favored using public funds for abortions for women who cannot afford them. According to the survey, 56% remain opposed, with only 39% favoring public funding for abortions" it doesn't sound good for abortion women because some of them may not afford it. I think government should have better health plan that should help women to cover abortion.
as you read through this article, you also want to know how Republicans and Democrats react to abortion. with just 31% of Republicans calling for a complete ban on abortion and just 32% of Democrats saying that abortion should be legal in all circumstances." it is very hard for you to decide which party you want to go with. I think this issue always comes along with your society, abortion or Not abortion just let women decide their own body. I think our government should have better plan for abortion and have a perfect way to reduce abortion. we may have more TV shows or more information that bring to women how bad abortion affect their lives. for my opinion, high education is one of the best way to reduce abortion. if you are interested reading this article, please click on this website http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2014/03/06/cnn-poll-wide-divide-over-abortion/?hpt=po_c2

On
Thursday, February 20, 2014 the Time published an article titled
Minimum Wage Hike Would Lift Earnings But Cost Jobs By Same Frizell.
this article talks about the President Barack Obama's plan to increase
the federal minimum wage would raise earning for millions of American
and lift almost one million out of poverty, but it costs economy hundred
of thousand of jobs. and Congressional Budget Office also said that
increasing the minimum wage from $ 7.25 per hours to $ 10.10 per hours
that would increase earning for all workers and they have more money to
spend but it would reduce more employment. so the issue is how to
increase the minimum wage and how to create more jobs. Obama and
Congressional Democrats have tried to make a minimum wage a key issue
ahead of the 2014 midterm elections but Republicans seem to like doesn't
agree with Obama's plan. increasing the minimum wage that will help all
workers make more money but it will hurt economy it both issues doesn't
work well together. as House Speaker John Boehner.said “With
unemployment Americans’ top concern, our focus should be creating—not
destroying—jobs for those who need them most.” For my option, I
strongly agree with Obama's Plan. Increasing minimum wage will help
workers make more money to support their family. the minimum wage $ 7.25
per hour I think that it is very low for workers. you can do the math
if the family have 3 people and only one works, this family doesn't have
enough money while educated people can support their family. the only
thing I consider is how to increase minimum wage while creating more
jobs ? I hope Government will work it out. if you are interested to read
this article, you can follow this link
